With over 12 years of experience photographing weddings, I’ve curated answers to some of the most common questions to help you feel informed, confident, and excited about your photography experience.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?

I photographed my first weddings in 2012 and immediately fell in love with documenting celebrations in a meaningful, story-driven way. Since then, wedding photography has become the heart of my work, and I can’t imagine doing anything else.

WHAT IS YOUR BOOKING PROCESS?

Once we’ve confirmed availability and discussed your wedding day needs, I will send a custom proposal that includes your selected coverage, contract, and invoice.

Your wedding date is officially reserved once the contract is signed and the non-refundable retainer is received. For local weddings, the retainer is $1,000, with the remaining balance due two weeks prior to the wedding date.

For destination weddings, a higher retainer may be required to secure travel arrangements. Any destination-specific details will be clearly outlined in your proposal prior to booking.

Do you offer partial-day wedding coverage?

Full-day wedding coverage is my standard offering, as I photograph only one wedding per weekend and want to document each celebration without time constraints.

Partial-day coverage may be considered on a limited basis closer to the wedding date, depending on availability. This option is not always available and is typically reserved for dates that remain open within a few months of the wedding.

WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH FOR WEDDING DAYS AND TELLING OUR STORY?

I work closely with you and your planner weeks, or even months, in advance to create a thoughtful photo timeline that allows the day to unfold naturally and without feeling rushed.

My approach blends gentle direction with a strong emphasis on candid moments, meaningful details, and authentic emotion, so you can stay present and truly enjoy every part of your celebration.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU GET SICK OR HAVE AN EMERGENCY BEFORE THE WEDDING?

In the unlikely event that I am unable to attend your wedding due to illness or emergency, I will make every reasonable effort to arrange a trusted substitute photographer of comparable quality and professionalism.

If you choose not to move forward with a substitute, you will receive a refund of any payments made beyond the non-refundable retainer, less the value of any services already rendered (such as engagement sessions or other completed coverage), which are non-refundable once delivered.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

I photograph weddings using professional Canon digital cameras and lenses, along with multiple backup camera bodies, memory cards, and batteries. I also use off-camera lighting for receptions and low-light environments to ensure consistent quality throughout the day.

ARE YOU INSURED?

Yes. I am fully insured and happy to provide proof to your venue upon request.

WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME FOR RECEIVING MY final gallery?

Final wedding galleries are delivered within 8 weeks of your wedding date. Engagement and portrait sessions are typically delivered within 2 weeks.

You’ll receive a sneak peek within 48 hours of your wedding or session so you can relive the excitement right away. I’ll always keep you informed if timelines shift during especially busy seasons.

HOW will you edit our photos?

My style is authentic, refined, and emotion-driven, with a strong focus on candid moments and timeless storytelling. I carefully edit each image using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to ensure a cohesive, polished final gallery that reflects my artistic vision. Because each image is intentionally edited, I do not deliver unedited RAW files.
